About me

Hello, I’m Catherine and I live and work in the Blackdown Hills, just outside of the market town of Honiton in East Devon.

I’ve always been what some might call ‘a people person’. From an early age I knew that whatever career I chose it had to be working with and supporting people in some way.

At the age of 18 we are expected to somehow know what we might like to do for at least some of our future. For me, I was interested in the law, how that can be used to support people and how it impacts on our lives on a daily basis. Following university I found myself working in the world of personnel, human resources whatever you like to call it and working with people in all sorts of contexts.

I still felt this niggle though that I could do more and use my skills in other ways. Having experienced therapy myself during a tough time in my life and experiencing the powerful impact it had on my journey through life, I became curious and I embarked upon my counselling training. I am passionate about walking alongside clients in their journey and enabling them to see the change and growth that they want for themselves and their lives.
